If you fancy seeing your blood pressure go through the roof, FromSoftware has just made the hardest Elden Ring boss even harder. While Souls-like games are notoriously hard, the recent release of Elden Ring has lived up to the promise of being the developer's biggest and hardest outing yet.

Most of us got stuck at the Tree Sentinel for a while, and don't even get us started on Margit the Fell Omen. Even the game's Director has apologised for its gruelling difficulty, but still, that hasn't stopped someone from making Elden Ring even harder. Well, that's just great.

Who Is Harder In Elden Ring?

A recent update has seriously buffed Radahn - which is ironic because he was already considered one of the most difficult boss fights in the game. The chunky 1.03.3 patch buffed Starscourge Radahn and put him back to kicking the Tarnished's ass over and over again. Previously, the 1.03 patch nerfed him to make him easier to tackle, but thanks to fan complaints, he's been working out.

Ruling the roost over at Redmane Castle, Radahn unleashes an unholy barrage of arrows and gravity attacks from him and his tiny horse Leonard (yes, that's the name of his horse). If all of this wasn't enough to deal with, when he reaches half HP, he'll then launch himself into the air and land on you like a tonne of bricks.

However, a weird bug made Radahn a little too easy - if you can call it that - but now, the 1.03.3 patch has "fixed a bug [...] in which the power of some attacks was unintentionally reduced." You gluttons for punishment have got your wish, so don't blame us.

Is Elden Ring Really Too Hard?

Although nerfed Radahn had his melee attacks and hitbox hit reduced, he's back to firing on all cylinders. Come on, you knew what you were getting yourselves in for. While FromSoft games were once remembered for Father Gascoigne being the biggest b*stard out there, the likes of Radahn, Malenia, and Maliketh The Black Blade are sure to top lists of "hardest Souls-like bosses".

Part of the whole Souls-like experience is triggering the "You Died" screen at every turn and slowly chugging your way around this tormented land to save the day. Elden Ring requires levelling up manually, which has made it a much more tactical experience. Given that some players have been beating Elden Ring bosses with starting items, at least Radahn will now keep you sweating. If you still think the Lands Between are too hard, you could always download easy mode.
