Uncharted is bouncing back in a pretty unexpected way right now. We'd expect that the series would be done and dusted now that A Thief's End has come and gone.

Instead, there's an upcoming movie starring Tom Holland and the Legacy of Thieves Collection are coming together to make sure that Nathan Drake's influence on modern gaming isn't forgotten too soon.

And, as new content begins to pour out, rumours come with it - and one rumour has proved very exciting with the true Uncharted nerds.

What Is The Uncharted Lego Set?

To come with the swathes of Uncharted content on its way out right now, it was rumoured that the series of games (or, alternatively, the live-action movie) would be getting its own big LEGO set. Be still, our beating hearts.

The rumour suggested that the set would have over 1,000 pieces to build, presumably at least with a Nathan Drake minifigure. It would also be a part of a new big gaming-themed line in the works at LEGO.

It's an exciting prospect, not just for Uncharted fans, but for gaming fans too - because the gaming line sounds fantastic. There's a lot of action that could translate to LEGO from gaming, and truly, the possibilities with such an idea are truly endless. But, we might have to pump the brakes on our excitement.

The Uncharted LEGO Set Was A Hoax

Oh.

As it turns out, the rumoured Uncharted Lego set was just a hoax spearheaded by Jaa Ong, a member of the LEGO Ambassador Network.

"Sorry, there's no LEGO Uncharted because I started that rumour to see who would pick it up", he said on Twitter. Pretty rude, if you ask us.

It's a shame that the set isn't coming. For now, the LEGO gaming line may still be a dream - but never say never. It could still happen, though probably not as soon as we'd hoped. Either way, we won't be happy until we can build Kratos' house from God of War with our own hands.
