Finishing moves have become one of the coolest additions to Call of Duty in the past five years.

Having the ability to flex on your opponents with a well-timed execution and a brutal massacre is the icing on the cake, especially if it is caught on a round-ending kill-cam.

But there's a line between cool gore and straight-up disturbance, and one of the latest execution moves to have been added is weirding some players out by upskirting Operators.

The Santa's Helper finishing move was first added to Modern Warfare 3 over the holiday season, where it rose in popularity for really adding a punch to the Christmas Crackers.

But with the re-emergence of The Boys collaborations, there's quite a sour taste to the elf's nutcracker move, especially with the Starlight skin.

The move involves a small elf-like figure who is spawned to uppercut enemies in the crotch, but when it comes to Starlight whose Operator outfit is a flappy skirt, the move has become far too invasive for some CoD fans to stomach.

MW3 Upskirt finishing move criticised by fans

While the intentions of Santa's Helper were likely to see war veterans squirm at the thought of a robust plum tickling, others haven't found it so funny when the genders are switched.

"Kids playing this game bruv," said one fan on Twitter.

"What the f**k am I looking at," another fan added on Reddit.

Others did argue that if anyone has seen The Boys, "this is right up their alley." Still, when it comes to other female Operators in the game like Nicki Minaj and Izzy, the action doesn't sit right.

Even if it's quite fun to see burly men break down with a knuckleduster to the nether regions, it might be time Activision revisits some of the more vulgar moves and gets back to King Kong launching their foes 100 feet.
