Developer 505 Games and Kojima Productions shared on Twitter that the release of Death Stranding on iPhone, iPad and Mac is being delayed.
While they did not share an official reason for this delay, the teams did share that they needed more time to work on the project.
505 Games said: “Here at 505 Games and Kojima Productions, we are excited to launch Death Stranding on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

“We can't wait to welcome more Porters to Death Stranding Director's Cut.”
The port was initially announced at Apple’s 2023 WWDC event, to advertise the latest iPhone’s ability to run triple-A games.
During the Keynote, Kojima said: “It has been a dream of mine to see my team’s best work come to life on the Mac.
“Now we are entering a new era for gaming on the Mac. I hope game creators everywhere will take advantage of this power to develop exciting and revolutionary new experiences.
“This is just the beginning, and we are actively working to bring our future titles to Apple platforms.”
Despite the delay, it seems like the studio’s are hopeful that the game will not take much longer than initially planned, with the current release window being early 2024.
