VALORANT and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) are games for visionaries. However, no player can hold a candle to Freddie Mercury and the rest of Queen who predicted the tales of both games back in 1980. And another one gone, and another one gone, another one bites the dust.

This time, it's hugely successful players Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel who have fulfilled the prophecy and made the journey to the promised land.

GeT_RiGhT is considered to be the highest-profile name yet to make the switch between games, also being regarded as one of the best CS:GO players in history. Having topped the HLTV rankings in 2013 and 2014 after being ranked second in 2010 and 2011, Alesund endured a lengthy career at the top of the tree. The Swede spent seven years at Ninjas in Pyjamas before moving to Dignitas in 2019, and has now announced via Twitter that he will be moving to VALORANT in the new year.

Whether this will be for Dignitas is yet to be known, as their VALORANT roster operates in North America and has five players manning the team.

As for Rubino, the former Dignitas and Heroic entry fragger has revealed that he is now looking for a professional VALORANT team after grinding the game over the last few months. On Twitter he stated "[For the] last 2/3 months I've been grinding [VALORANT] for several hours each day, and I'm currently in a phase where I feel that next step is to get a proper team to evolve even more, so that's it, guys, I'm going all in valo, and I'm looking for a team".

Whether the grass is greener on the other side, only time will tell.
