CS:GO Glitch Is Making Players Hover In Mid-Air

CounterStrike: Global Offensive is all about knowing your angles. Understanding every inch of the game and a map to manipulate your mind into knowing exactly where opponents could be and then BANG, it becomes a test of patience and reactions to eliminate an opponent and stop the enemy team from taking control of the objective.

However, a new exploit has changed the game completely. It stems from being able to hover, meaning you can look over certain obstacles, whilst the game still recognises that you are on the floor. It allows you to be able to see over boxes or alike objects without being seen, allowing you to effectively wall bang players without being noticed.

Prominent CS:GO glitch de-bunker. "Sparkles" was made aware of the bug by another user, which involves using a bind of keys. Having to have the game opened in Windowed mode, the YouTuber showcased the hover glitch, before casting out a stern warning.

Sparkles first illustrates how to use the exploit, and displayed his source taking advantage of it. Being able to bounce above cars and crates the player consistently snipes players who could not see him. After a while, the YouTuber stated: "I had to try and test this for myself to see if it really was this simple to just recreate”.

After a few failed attempts, Sparkles was able to do the glitch and managed to capture himself using it whilst watching over the bomb site on Dust II. He managed to hold down the tunnel entrance, something that you wouldn't usually be able to see from his position.

This glitch, like many more, will result in a straight ban if you're caught using it. Sparkles ended the video by hoping that the hover glitch is quickly patched by developers, before saying that "it is definitely over watch bannable, and the investigator will see you just aiming and killing people, then ban you". So, make sure you double peak your entrances before entering and be wary of those pesky cheaters.
