The Call of Duty League is back and bigger than ever before. The second season of the franchised league sees 12 of the biggest Call of Duty organisations in the world go head to head, and the stakes are enormous.

Boasting the best talent in the world back in a four versus four format, the league has now announced that a whopping $5,000,000 will be up for grabs throughout the season.

Here's how it will break down...

CDL 2021 Prize Pool Split

Majors

The season's format has reverted back to the classical five splits, all of which will have three home stands that will determine the seeding for the major. With five majors in total, $500,000 will be allocated to each one, meaning during the regular season $2,500,000 of the total amount will be offered up to those who go above and beyond for their share of the spoils.

All 12 teams will compete in each Major event, and the prize money will be split as follows:

  • 1st place = $200,000
  • 2nd place = $120,000
  • 3rd place = $80,000
  • 4th place = $40,000
  • 5th/6th place = $20,000 per team
  • 7th/8th place = $10,000 per team
  • 9th/10th/11th/12th = $0

The Kickoff Classic is excluded from the events, with the Atlanta Home Series being the season's official curtain-raiser on February 11.

  • 5th/6th place = $75,000 per team
  • 7th/8th place = $25,000 per team

No date has yet to be set for any event past the Atlanta Home Series with the global pandemic still causing disruption to the league's plans, although more should be revealed at the Kickoff Classic
