Warzone players, to their credit, have earned the right to be annoyed.
The game has been in a weird state for some time, and despite constant monitoring and updates, fans are still being rewarded with very little, returning to a practically broken game every time.
The game has its problems with bugs and glitches like any other live service title, but this is on a more intense level. Every bug that's patched out has its space taken by another, and as they're so constantly exploited by cheaters, it becomes ever harder for Warzone to climb out of the hole that its problems have dug it.
And now, another problem has plagued Caldera, and it means that players can get away with anything as long as they're in a vehicle.
Warzone's Vehicles Have Become 'Indestructible'
In a bizarre twist, the new Warzone update seems to have drastically boosted the durability of the game's vehicles, with many players reporting that they simply can't destroy them without an incredible amount of firepower.
Reports started on Reddit, with one user showing off a video of their difficulty destroying a helicopter. "6 rockets. 2 C4. 5 LMG rounds needed to destroy a helicopter," says the caption. "I know they buffed player health but what is going on with the vehicle damage since the update?"
Warzone's Indestructible Vehicles - "Another Silent Buff"
Users in the comments are reporting their own difficulty taking vehicles down, proving that this isn't just a one-off.
"It's exactly what I've been seeing," says one commenter. "I put 240 rounds from a Bren into a truck the other day. It started smoking. Bouncing betties don't blow up vehicles anymore either. Just damage markers. This is another silent buff."
"I hit an active Bertha with two bursts from a cluster. Took away maybe 20% of its health," reads another.
It's clear that something has changed here - and it's sad that it's yet another point of contention for players. They're long overdue a simple, unbroken battle royale experience, but it seems like we might have to wait for Warzone 2 for that.
