Where is Leatherface’s house in Call Of Duty: Warzone?
We're revving our chainsaws in excitement as "The Haunting of Verdansk" comes to Call of Duty: Warzone. There are a whole host of occult occurrences going on in Activision's beloved game, with new modes like Zombie Royale and the Trick or Treat loot boxes littering the map being particular talking points.
Games getting on the Halloween hype is nothing new, but when it comes to Call of Duty, there's also an official tie-in with some of the best-loved horror franchises out there. Alongside Billy the Puppet from Saw, Leatherface himself is "carving" a legacy in Warzone.
The blundering serial killer first appeared on our screen for 1974's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and has since gone on to become an icon of the horror genre. As well as unlocking Leatherface as an Operator skin (who wouldn't want to?), you can actually meet the chainsaw-wielding maniac himself if you know where to look. Just don't say we didn't warn you.
Where is Leatherface's house?
Click to enlargeIf you're suitably tooled up and think you can take on the big guy, head to Verdansk's Krovnik Farmland area on the far right-hand side. It's not usually as populated as areas like the Stadium, but as players head there in their droves to try and catch a glimpse of Leatherface, expect it to be busier than usual. Your first sighting of Leatherface will find him in an upstairs window. His looming presence should be illuminated against the moonlight, meaning you're nearly there.
Entering his ramshackle house, you'll be greeted by severed body parts as homely decorations and smears of blood to warn you that others haven't been quite so lucky in getting out alive. The sound of a whirring chainsaw blade should warn you to stay away, but if you're brave enough, you can climb the stairs and catch an actual look at Leatherface.
Is there a reward for visiting Leatherface's house?
If you're too scared to face Leatherface yourself, The Legendary Borac has done all the hard work for you over on YouTube. At the top of the stairs, a ghostly apparition of Leatherface will appear and then fade into the night.
Unfortunately, that's about it. There no unlockable skin by finding Leatherface, you don't get to grab his FiNN LMG (outfitted with a XRK ChainSAW), and there's no extra XP. A visit to Leatherface's house is a well-placed Easter egg for horror fans, but unlike Fortnite, there's not much else to it. Oh well, you should at least be thankful you got out with your face still attached.
