Warzone fans aren't known for being particularly forgiving.

Sure, there are some nice people in there, but when they come together in a collective, they can be immeasurably toxic, especially towards the team at Raven Software who are working on the game that they get to play for free. Any feature that isn't to a player's liking is often put on blast on Reddit, and though the game gives way to a lot of hackers and bugs, the team really get put through it by fans. Though really, we use the term "fans" pretty likely.

And now Raven is getting roasted online for one of their tweets trying to promote Warzone Pacific.

Warzone Community Roast Call Of Duty Tweet

Call of Duty has been the victim of some serious sass on Twitter recently, as a lot of franchise fans are coming together to poke fun of the fact that a lot of players simply don't like the new Caldera map.

In a Tweet on the official Call of Duty account, the team asked their audience where their favourite spot to drop on Caldera is. "What's been your go-to drop spot in Caldera so far?" they ask. Rookie error.

Fans have appeared in their droves in the replies, telling the team that their favourite drop spot is on Rebirth Island, to imply that the new map is so poor and dull that they'll only play the game modes starring a different map altogether. Oof.

JGOD Leads The Charge On Call Of Duty's Tweet

It's not just the Reddit masses crawling out of the woodwork to rinse Call of Duty either - JGOD, one of the most popular CoD influencers, came out to hint that Rebirth Island was the far superior drop. And he ratioed Call of Duty themselves. Brutal.

Other fans are replying to insinuate that Verdansk was a much better map to engage in the battle royale with, which is basically the general consensus for long-term fans of the game.

It's sad that Raven is struggling to keep players involved with Caldera - but the people have spoken, even though they had immense trouble with Verdansk when it was out. We guess we only know what we've got when it's gone.
