Much like the collab chaos of Fortnite, Call of Duty crossovers aren't limited to TV series or famous superheroes Several celebrities have also stepped foot onto the battlefield in recent years, with rappers being a go-to staple of the war effort...for some reason.

21 Savage and Nicki Minaj made a splash with their bundles, but no one has more of a presence in CoD than Snoop Dogg. The world-famous rapper, who has appeared in Vanguard, Modern Warfare 2, and now Modern Warfare 3, was recently spotted in the Rebirth Island trailer.

This time, his Operator is a little different, with Snoop sporting more of a Mil-Sim outfit instead of his typical flashy attire. Has Activision finally remembered that Call of Duty is supposed to be a war game?

Snoop Dogg is back in Modern Warfare Season 3

Taking to Twitter on March 26, the popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL showcased a frame of the new Season 3 trailer, which revealed Snoop Dogg is back in MW3.

It was only a matter of time before the rapper made a comeback in Sledgehammer's title, especially after featuring as a store bundle in so many other recent Call of Duty games.

This Mil-Sim version of Snoop rocks grey cargo trousers and a navy blue shirt. Equipped head to toe with military gear, Snoop looks like he's heading on a mission rather than going to perform on stage this time around.

This design choice will undoubtedly divide the playerbase, which often disagrees on whether the flashy or military outfits are better for the game's aesthetic. Either way, the rapper's return bundle is almost guaranteed to be a hit, as his Operator never fails to be popular on the battlefield.

MW3 fans praise Season 3 Snoop Dogg as the "best looking" version of rapper

There's no gold or bling on the Season 3 Snoop Dogg, and for a lot of the community, it's resulted in the "best looking" version of the rapper to date. "That is the best-looking skin for him ever, well done," said one player, with another claiming, "He’s looking fresh too, hope we get more than one variant for him."

It feels like Snoop Dogg is becoming an iconic character in CoD at this point, alongside Captain Price, Alex Mason, and Simon "Ghost" Riley. He's made so many appearances that fans are arguing it'd be a "crime not to include him at this point," with the rapper becoming a "fixture" in the series.

So get ready for another version of Snoop in Season 3 and likely every other future Call of Duty title for the foreseeable future.
