Aurimas 'Bymas' Pipiras has joined Mousesports from FaZe Clan as their sixth man.

Amid rumours that Markus 'Kjaerbye' Kjærbye could be joining FaZe to replace Olofmeister, Bymas' stand-in period has ended as he joins Mousesports, adding to their illustrious international roster.

Announced on their official Twitter page, he has been labelled a 'development player', as the promising 16-year-old joins as their substitute.

Mousesports also added: "We experienced how sudden circumstances can change this year. Thus we decided to broaden our roster and bring in a 6th player to be prepared. We are excited that we can present a huge talent as Bymas to fill that role, who fits into our philosophy of developing young players".

After ending 2019 in prime position with three major wins and runners up at the EPICENTER 2019 event, Mouz has struggled after the turn of the year, winning just one major in 2020, which was their first of the year at ICE Challenge in February. Since then they have failed to rediscover their form, having two runners up medals at Intel Extreme Masters XIV - World Championship and Gamers Without Borders respectively. This comes as their only notable achievements this year, having three 13th placed finishes and two top-eight placements.

Bymas will come in as a development player in hopes that he can inspire Mouz to kick on for the season, pushing players for a place in the starting five. It is likely that he will feature in some competitions throughout the year as he looks to develop as a young player and offer Mouz some exciting raw talent.

FaZe have now also signed Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye after becoming inactive at North, coming in instead of Bymas as their fifth player as they have finally found a replacement for Olof Kajbjer 'olofmeister' Gustafsson.
