A Tactical Nuke in Call of Duty is the ultimate flex. The killstreak is only achievable in the franchise by literally decimating the enemy team at least 25 times over, granting you the power to rub salt in the deep wounds you've already caused.

Now it appears that Black Ops Cold War players are about to have hell rained upon them in a similar fashion.

For the first time ever in Treyarch's instalments of Call of Duty, the Tactical Nuke has been added as a kill streak.

Black Ops Cold War Nuke

Having previously only ever been available in the Modern Warfare sub-franchise, the tactical nuke is now in Black Ops Cold War. Despite no inclusion into the patch notes, the cheeky devs slipped it into the game, as found by Twitch streamer Ghost Rymms.

Having racked up a huge 30 kills against his helpless opponents whilst using a sniper, Rymms was awarded a Nuke killstreak. Contrary to previous games, the nuke didn't end the game when deployed, but did kill every player in the lobby.

How to Get a Nuke in Black Ops Cold War

Long are the days of Modern Warfare 2's Pavelow and AC-130 combo to set you on the way to a Tactical Nuke. Previous Call of Duty titles will grant players a Nuke after a 25 kill streak, including those gathered by scorestreaks, although life isn't quite that simple nowadays.

It takes a full 30 killstreak to get a nuke in Black Ops Cold War, and the secret killstreak is only available in the limited-time game mode: Die Hardpoint. Kills also achieved through the likes of Artillery bombardments and the Cruise Missile won't count towards your streak, it's straight-up weapons only, again.

The limited-time game mode is only on show during the 80s Action Heroes event, which is likely going to end on June 18.
