According to leaks, Activision will not be supporting any free upgrades for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War when the new generation of consoles come.

Black Ops Cold War leaks have been rife with content as we approach the reveal due on August 26. With the full reveal due to go live throughout Verdansk, dataminers and leakers have been going to town on files for the new instalment, and within the files, three editions of the game have been found.

The three editions that will be reportedly available for Black Ops Cold War are:

  • Standard Edition
  • Cross-Gen Bundle
  • Ultimate Edition

The Standard Edition is set to support the Playstation 4, PC, and Xbox One, with no option available to upgrade this edition when the new generation consoles become available. If you are planning on making the switch to the Xbox Series X or the Playstation 5, then the Cross-Gen bundle will have to be your minimum option.

With no indication of how much each bundle will cost, it will be likely that the Cross-Gen bundle will be considerably more expensive than the Standard Edition.

The most premium of the bundles will be the 'Ultimate Edition', which according to the same dataminer (BKTOOR_), will include the following:

  • Full Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War game
  • Land, Sea and Air Pack
  • 3 Operator Skins
  • 3 Vehicle Skins
  • 3 Weapon Blueprints
  • Battle Pass Bundle (1 Season Battle Pass + 20 Tier Skips)
  • Confrontation Weapons Pack

Players who pre-order any of the games will also be granted access to the early release beta should the information be believed. They will also receive access to an Iconic Sergeant Frank Woods Operator and Assualt Rifle blueprint, as the game is set to include similar styles of Operators and Gunsmithing to Modern Warfare.
