The reigning Call of Duty (CoD) World Champions, Atlanta FaZe, have been honoured in Warzone, although their memorial has been all-but reduced to rubble and dust.
After dominating a large proportion of the Call of Duty League during the Black Ops Cold War season, Atlanta FaZe was crowned as world champions and cemented the first brick in their dynasty status. Alongside a collection of Nike Jordan's, suave and personalised championship bomber jackets, a huge obsidian trophy, and a deep black championship ring, the FaZe roster have now been depicted in Warzone.
Tyler "aBeZy" Pharris, Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson, Mcarthur "Cellium" Jovel, and Chris "Simp" Lehr, have all been posted up on flags in front of a statue of the championship trophy.
Just as they launched the Atlanta Spookathon, the FaZe roster found themselves erected in the place that Dallas Empire once stood, albeit that Stadium (the memorial's location) has now been blown to smithereens.
Stadium has been targeted as one of a few middle-map locations in Verdansk that have been destroyed in the Warzone Season 6 update, alongside the surrounding villages and the majority of Downtown. The FaZe flags still remain upright though, on the only Stadium stand that remains.
The Dallas Empire stood overlooking the map for an entire year before being ragged down to make way for FaZe, which indicates that the new Warzone map, which is set to come with the Vanguard integration, will also have a standpoint for the winners to be ogled at.
The CDL pros have been jumping back into Warzone as of recent, due to the offseason allowing for more time, and Vanguard set to be played on the same engine, showing the world that they can mix it up with the best within the BR genre.
Former FaZe flex player, Preston "Priestahh" Greiner has been one of many to dive into the newly-decorated Warzone map, and has even been accused of cheating, due to his incredible talent.
FaZe will likely stand tall for a whole year, and possibly longer, as they want to continue their reign.
