We know Call of Duty fans get a bee in their bonnet when the game doesn't work, and who can blame them, especially given the premium fees every single year?
But instead of heading to endless Reddit threads and forums to have their complaints fall on deaf ears, one savvy group of players has decided to contact the developers in a new way...free Pizza.
Warzone players deliver Pizza to developers amid PC issues
Beenox, the Activision developer branch that handles the PC side of Call of Duty and creators of some mesmerising Warzone content like Fortune's Keep, has recently faced some heavy issues with graphic cards, specifically the AMD VEGA.
The developers reported crashes for players using this card on both MW2 and Warzone 2, but a fix has yet to be deployed, meaning players have become quite (understandably) restless.
Amid this, one Reddit user named u/BehindACorpFireWall has now had a pizza delivered to Beenox headquarters. Instead of simply being nice, it's to bribe them and keep their spirits high as they look for a fix to the issue.
Frustrated CoD PC Player sends Beenox pizza with "Help" message
The post was actually removed from Reddit by moderators, but it can be seen that the Warzone player added "Help VEGA Please" on the instructions to their pizza delivery, which was intended to be delivered into the hands of Beenox's team.
However, it might not have been the best move in the world, as one Reddit user pointed out that the pizza was from a low-mid range parlour in Canada, as they joked, "So now they are probably even more upset hah!" Maybe Domino's Pizza would've been a better choice.
It's likely that the pizza never actually got past security, so the plea for help probably ended up being as useless as the forum comments, but it was worth a try!
