Rosters have been blown up, smashed into smithereens, and begun to sulk as piles of rubble and dust following the conclusion of the Vanguard season. But going into Modern Warfare 2, it's all about which bits and pieces can be placed together with the right cement. If the right rokks fit together, we might just see something special be built...

Minnesota ROKKR has had a habit of boasting quite a talented bunch of rough diamonds throughout its history, but has never quite been able to make them shine as beautiful gems. Modern Warfare saw sniper king Adam "GodRx" Brown be one of their superstars, although cohesion lacked when the online era ticked around and ROKKR's season ended on a whim. Black Ops Cold War rookie Eli "Standy" Bentz lit the league up when the team continued to lack the glue to be held together. And Vanguard kept the trend.

However, the new-look Minnesota ROKKR team for Modern Warfare 2 has been bolstered with players famous for their leadership and team-based precision, and they're confident that a winning formula has been assembled.

Afro Happy With ROKKR Roster: 'Most Well-Rounded' Team In Modern Warfare 2

ROKKR's new formation sees long-time servant of the organisation Dillon "Attach" Price back to lead the Assault Rifle role, a position he transitioned not for the latter half of the Vanguard season. Slipping into the flex and submachine gun roles respectively come former 'Kings in the North' rivals Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan and Ben "Bance" Bance, while the final SMG slayer will see lesser-known superstar Marcus "Afro" Reid be pulled in from London Royal Ravens.

As the least experienced player on the team, surrounded by talented and established teammates, the onus will be on Afro to add the X-factor and speed to ROKKR this year, and he's looking forward to relishing the opportunity. "The team is probably the most perfectly structured squad that you could get with all of the players out there," Afro said in the Minnesota ROKKR press conference.

Afro was hot property in the transfer market but claims ROKKR's stability and structure were what attracted him to join. "Obviously, there were a few offers on the table from other teams out there, but for me, this is the most well-rounded team that you could put together," he added.

Attach Aims For Multiple Championships In Modern Warfare 2

With ROKKR having given the lead to Attach this off-season, allowing him to build the roster that he wanted, the ROKKR stalwart has now targetted multiple championships in the upcoming year - missing out on his usual piece of the pie has lit a fire inside Attach.

"With the players that we have now, seeing the players as individuals and knowing how the team will advance throughout the year, we're going to make each other better throughout the year," he began.

"Ben's Really smart, Afro and Cammy are really smart and super talented as well. We're going to make each other better so when we win an event we'll still be hungry and want to win another one."

ROKKR confirmed that any Major that they do win won't be one hosted by themselves, however, with three Europeans on the team, maybe a trip to London might be more homely anyway.
