If you're playing Fortnite this week, then you might be wondering how to travel distance using the Kinetic Blade dash attack. A new Fortnite update, v24.20, has dropped today, bringing plenty of new content and features to the popular battle royale title.

Here's all you need to know about finding Kinetic Blade in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 and traveling distances using its dash attack.

How do you travel distance using the Kinetic Blade dash attack?

The Kinetic Blades spawn as regular loot in Fortnite, so the weapon can be found on the ground or in Chests. Alternatively, players can always find a Kinetic Blade at Kenjutsu Crossing. One can discover nine different Kinetic Blades in the main dojo at this new point of interest. Finally, it can also be purchased from the NPC Mizuki, which can be found in the watchtower at The Citadel.

Once you get a Kinetic Blade in your hands, press the respective button on your keyboard to equip it. Then, press the right click on your mouse to travel distance using the Kinetic Blade dash attack. However, the Fortnite challenge is not over yet, as you can only travel up to 25 meters in a single dash attack. You must travel 500 meters using the new weapon to complete the quest.

Therefore, you will have to perform around 20 dash attacks using Kinetic Blade to accomplish the Fortnite challenge. It's also important to note that there's a cooldown of 10 seconds after every attack, so make sure to plan your next move accordingly.

After completing the core objective, the challenge will be marked as completed, and you'll receive free Fortnite XP for your efforts.
