Highlights:

  • Map seeds can be used to spawn in different biomes in LEGO Fortnite to get an abundance of caves, food and more
  • You can search for map seeds by entering codes into the map selection screen of the LEGO Fortnite mode

Using seeds in LEGO Fortnite can give you a much-needed headstart in the game, so we’ve noted down some of our favourites with plenty on offer, as well as how to use them.

Whether you want an abundance of caves, access to the best biomes or just somewhere to start a nice little village, we’ve got an entire selection right here just waiting to be explored.

Best starting seed

Now this is the map I've been using since LEGO Fortnite first released, and it has since gone on to be one of the best locations I've found in the game to date. With plenty of flat terrain for an early village settlement, close-knit biomes and plenty of animals, it gave me a great start to the game.

Best cave seed

Seed Number: 15.20.87.35.29

Finding a cave can be a little difficult in LEGO Fortnite, but they’re incredibly helpful when you’re hunting down valuable resources like Obsidian, Marble or Knotroot. Fortunately, as shown by GingerJay91 on X/Twitter, you can find several caves in the Grasslands as soon as you spawn in.

During my brief exploration of the seed, I found eight close to each other as soon as I had turned around, and by the sounds of it, there may be even more nearby just waiting to be explored.

Best food seed

Finding food should always be a priority in LEGO Fortnite, especially if you’re opting for Survival mode over Sandbox. When checking out random seeds, I managed to find this one which landed me in a Grassland with an abundance of corn, pumpkins, raspberries and several cows and chickens.

With all this food nearby, including the ingredients you can get from petting (or eliminating) animals, you should be able to get some great recipes going early in LEGO Fortnite and ensure that your inventory is full to bursting with food.

Best fishing seed

Seed Number: 01.69.67.86.88

Any game that includes fishing is a perfect experience in my honest opinion, and LEGO Fortnite is no exception. Despite not being present at the launch of the game mode, fishing is a great way to create new recipes and catch some colourful creatures.

This map seed I found has a lake with a large tree not too far from the spawn area, and when I got there, the fish were just begging to be caught. So, set up your camp, grab a rod and get to work.

Best biome seed

Seed Number: 16.64.97.07.44

There’s an abundance of biomes for you to explore in LEGO Fortnite, so having several of them in close proximity will help to give you the best possible start. Once again found by GingerJay91 on X/Twitter, as you can see from the image above with Jellie flying up high, there is a Dry Valley, Frostland, and Grassland all a stone’s throw away.

Additionally, what you can see behind him is a huge lake and a cave atop a hill, which should help you out when you want to start collecting some of the rarer resources in LEGO Fortnite.

Best village seed

Seed Number: 24.68.01.35.79

When you’re starting to build and upgrade your thriving villages in LEGO Fortnite, having some secure, flat ground is what you need to get your early buildings, foundations and crafting elements ready without being too cut off from other biomes.

This seed is in a bowl of sorts in the Grasslands, with rivers surrounding it, a cave, a Dry Valley in the distance and a Shore biome nearby for when you want to start collecting shells.

Using map seeds in LEGO Fortnite is pretty simple and can be done in a few steps when you are jumping into a new world:

  • Head into the LEGO Fortnite Lobby
  • Create a new world
  • Select Override World Seed (as shown in the image above)
  • Enter your seed number
  • Choose your game mode preferences
  • Press start to enter the world

And that’s it. Once you’ve entered the codes you’ll drop into a spawn point and be able to start exploring all these different seeds in LEGO Fortnite.
