Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight is one of the most popular games in the horror genre. While the devs are still rolling out new content for the title, players have been waiting for any news on future releases.

Well, the team delivered some exciting news during the 7th-anniversary stream, revealing that two more games are in development. While there's very little information about both upcoming titles, we do know who the developers are and the type of games they will be.

So, without further ado, let's check out everything we know about the two new Dead by Daylight games that will expand the series beyond the asymmetrical horror and that bizarre DBD dating sim

The first new game in the Dead by Daylight franchise is being developed by Supermassive Games, who are known for The Quarry and the Dark Pictures series. This title will be a single-player experience with a strong focus on narrative, that's set in the Dead by Daylight universe.

The second game is being created by Midwinter Entertainment, known for their 2021 game Scavengers. This title will be a cooperative multiplayer experience where players team up together as a group.

While details on each of these games are thin on the ground, knowing they're in development and we'll soon be visiting the Void in a different way gives Dead by Daylight fans something to look forward to.

For now, neither of these Dead by Daylight games has an official release date, but it's been revealed that Supermassive Games' title is further ahead in development compared to Midwinter's, which is still in the very early stages.

As a result, Supermassive's DbD game is expected to be announced later this year, but this should be taken with a pinch of salt as it's possible it will get delayed.

Let's hope Behaviour Interactive has more news on the future titles as soon as possible, because it's safe to say, there's a lot of excitement around their new projects. Dead by Daylight is far from dead yet.
