Will Remnant 2 be on Xbox Game Pass?
Remnant 2 on Xbox Game Pass would make the game accessible to many people. With this game being co-op for up to three players, inviting your friends with a smaller financial barrier would be fantastic. Part of why the first game was successful is because it was available for free on the Epic Games Store and other services. So, here's everything you need to know about Remnant 2 on Xbox Game Pass.
- Remnant: From the Ashes was also available as an included monthly game on PlayStation Plus.
Will Remnant 2 be on Xbox Game Pass?
Click to enlargeAt the time of writing, Remnant 2 will not be on Xbox Game Pass - at least at launch. The sequel isn't on any subscription services and is releasing at $49.99/£44.99. Thankfully, it's not a fully-priced game.
Those on a budget may be upset by this decision, but at least you don't have to spend a lot of cash on Gunfire Games' next title. By the way, this studio also developed Darksiders 3, so the studio has pedigree.
- Remnant: From The Ashes has also been on Xbox Game Pass in the past. Hopefully, the sequel eventually arrives on the service.
Which versions of Remnant 2 can you buy?
Click to enlargeSomething to keep in mind, however, is the Deluxe and Ultimate versions of the game. The Deluxe Edition ($59.99/£54.99) includes:
- The game
- Three armour sets based on Remnant: From the Ashes
The Ultimate Edition ($69.99/£64.99) has the following:
- All Deluxe Edition contents
- Three days of early access
- The Survival Pack (Two Mudtooth Elixir (EXP Bonus) five Bloodroot, three, Ammo Boxes, 1000 Scrap, and 10 Iron)
- A DLC bundle with three packs - we do not know what these are yet
The three days of early access would certainly be neat to have, but unless you want the additional DLC with three packs, it's probably worth just getting the Standard Edition.
