WoW Dragonflight update 10.1.5 early patch notes: Megadungeon, Augmentation Spec & Whelp Daycare

Blizzard Entertainment has released the release date of the latest patch for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, and what is due to be released within the patch, such as the new Megadungeon, Augmentation Spec, and Whelp Daycare.

Players have been exploring this on the PTR, and this guide will tell you everything you need to know about the upcoming patch, and most importantly, when you can expect patch 10.1.5 to be released in WoW: Dragonflight.

Patch 10.1.5 Release date

The release date for this upcoming patch is July 11. This is not long at all and means there isn't long for players to prepare for the latest content coming to the game. Players are already deep into Season 2, with Aberrus, and the latest Mythic+ season. The latest patch is jam-packed with content, as written about in their official blog post.

Dawn of the Infinite Mega-Dungeon

Just like in Shadowlands, players will be getting another Mega-Dungeon in Dragonflight. This will be an eight-boss Mythic-only dungeon, where players will have to battle against the Infinite Dragonflight to stop them from transforming Nozdormu into Murozond. Players will battle it out against Iridikon amongst others, including some familiar faces along the way.

New Evoker Specialisation: Augmentation

Evokers are now getting a third specialisation, named Augmentation. This particular spec is going to be a DPS spec based on the Black and Bronze Dragonflight. However, their damage is reliant on boosting the damage of their allies. 

The Augmentation specialisation is now available for players to try out and see if they are comfortable with this new way of doing damage. These new Evokers will have access to abilities such as Upheaval, Eruption and more. Blizzard has released a blog post specifically detailing the new spec.

Whelp Daycare

Now with more eggs than ever in their care, the Dragons are in need of assistance. This is where you come in. You are in charge of five dragon whelps over at Little Scales Daycare, where you get to educate them about the flights, earn Renown and more!

Whilst those are the main points of the upcoming patch, there is also some new and exciting content for players to keep their eye on. This includes new updates for Warlocks, Class Talent updates, repeatable content in Eon’s Fringe and joining together to defeat waves of minions in Time Rifts.
