The Warzone 2 Mildenhall Neck error seems to occur for most players in the middle of matches, specifically in the brand-new DMZ mode that was introduced to the series for the first time. Typically, it occurs when there is a problem between the player's connection and the game's servers. When the error happens, it will cause the game to crash and log you out of Warzone 2, meaning you'll need to reboot the game and log in again, all for it to potentially happen again.

While there are no permanent solutions to the Mildenhall Neck error, and Activision are yet to publish an official patch to fix it, there are some workarounds and troubleshooting methods you can try in the meantime. Read on below for some potential fixes.

Resetting Your Internet

It's a classic way to fix a connection problem, but restarting your internet can do wonders sometimes and fix a lot of different problems. Obviously, this will reset the connection between your internet and the game's servers before connecting again, which may fix the issue.

Restart Warzone 2

The next best workaround is to restart your whole game. If you're on console, just exit it off the game and then relaunch it after a minute. For PC players, make sure you also restart your Steam or Battle.net client.

Repair Files

This is a PC-only solution, but the issue may be with your game files, so you may have to repair them. For Steam users, you just need to right-click the game in your library, select 'Properties', click the 'Local Files' tab, and then select "Verify integrity of game files…". Wait for the process to finish and try playing again.

If you're on Battle.net instead, click the cog wheel icon next to the game, and then select 'Scan and Repair'. This will search through the files for a few minutes, repairing any files that need it. Then you can go back to the game and try playing again.

That's all for our primer on how to fix the Warzone 2 Mildenhall Neck error, and now you know how to potentially get your game working again so you can keep playing.
