Vanguard Atomic Camo: How To Unlock Mastery Skins
The Vanguard Atomic camo is pretty much the end goal for everyone playing the latest Call of Duty title. Every year, mastery weapon skins are the ultimate way to show off your success, and Vanguard is no different.
Rather than the Damascus and Obsidian skins, we have the Vanguard Atomic camo to equip on all your weapons. How do you unlock the Atomic camo? What does the Atomic camo look like? Worry not, because we've got all the answers around the Vanguard Atomic camo right here.
Vanguard Atomic Camo: What Does It Look Like?
Phwoar. That is one sexy camo. Atomic leaves behind the purple-bluey hue of the Damascus camo in favour of a blue-red-yellow pulsing effect. Right now, this is the final weapon camo players can unlock in-game, but Modern Warfare did see the Obsidian camo added later down the line, so whether Vanguard will have another mastery camo introduced is still yet to be determined.
There are also the Gold and Diamond camos included in the list of mastery skins, but it's safe to say they're not quite as impressive. Diamond especially is way too studded for our tastes, and the Gold camos in Call of Duty will never reach the heights of the Call of Duty 4 days, but they certainly allow you to show off when slaying in-game.
Vanguard Atomic Camo: How To Unlock It
Wondering how to unlock the Atomic camo in Vanguard? Well, the answer is simple, but the method is not easy. You need to unlock every other weapon camo in the game. Completing all the challenges and unlocking all the camos for one specific gun will reward you with the Gold camo, while doing that for every weapon in a specific weapon class, i.e assault rifles, will unlock Diamond on all of those weapons. Once you've got Diamond for every weapon class, Atomic camo will be unlocked on all of the Vanguard weapons.
Unlocking all of the weapon camos for any specific weapon in the game involves fairly simple things that you should complete just by playing the game, like getting headshots and long-distance kills, but there are some challenges that may require you to alter the way you play. Like running and gunning, sprinting round and playing the objective?
The crouched and/or prone kills may prove to be a problem. Never utilise the wall-mount mechanic? Mounted kills will certainly have you thinking outside of the box. You unlock some pretty sweet camos along the way though, so it's worth it. Don't forget about the Vanguard perks too, which will assist you in altering your playstyle.
