VALORANT was specifically designed by Riot Games from the start to have low system requirements and a small download size so that the most amount of players could play. Before making sure you have the right amount of space, you will need to check that your PC or laptop meets the system requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS - Windows 7 (64-bit)
  • RAM - 4 GB
  • VRAM - 1GB
  • CPU - AMD Athlon 200 GE / Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
  • GPU - Intel HD 4000 / Radeon R5200

Recommended Requirements

  • OS - Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • RAM - 4 GB
  • VRAM - 1GB
  • CPU - AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel i-34150
  • GPU - GeForce GT 730 / Radeon R7240

If you meet the above specifications, you can now go and download VALORANT. Getting the installer itself is around 65 MB, and the Vanguard anti-cheat service that comes with it is 200 MB. With the installer, you can download VALORANT Itself, which is currently sitting at 28.4 GB according to the Riot client.

Over time, the game has continued to get bigger as more content like maps, characters, and skins have been added, and we can only see this climbing even higher as these updates continue into the future, such as VALORANT Episode 6 Act I which is set to launch on January 10.

That's all for our guide on the VALORANT game size 2022, and now you know the hardware requirements you need to meet, along with how much space you will need for the game.

We also have an explainer on the best VALORANT crosshair settings, which will aid you in hitting those tough shots.
