As with other Kits released by Maxis, the Greenhouse Haven Kit, and Basement Treasure Kits seem to be adding cosmetic-only items to the game, in the form of CAS and build mode items.

From the screenshots shared, we can see that both Kits are themed around used items getting a second chance for use in Sim's homes.

With the tagline 'Rediscover your Roots', The Sims 4 Greenhouse Haven Kit looks to add more planter options to the game.

There also seem to be new window and door options for players who wish to build their own greenhouses on their lots.

The Sims 4 blog post cited the pack will cater for players who wish for a "plethora of gardening objects, including starter seedlings, stacks of pots, a planting table, hanging flower baskets and more."

The Sims 4 Basement Treasure Kit seems to mostly feature new clutter items for players wishing to age their lots and have them appear more worn down.

Through the images provided by Maxis we can see clutter items such as:

  • Mattresses leaning against walls for decoration.
  • An old antenna TV.
  • Food items.
  • An old, corded house phone.
  • Cardboard boxes with closed and open swatches showing cluttered storage items.
  • A new mirror with a cracked swatch option.
  • A retro 70s-themed standing lamp and table lamp.
  • Pin-striped couch with fabric pieces resting on it.
  • Photo frames.
  • Exposed brick decals.
  • A wheeled shopping bag.
