Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Release Date
Electronic Arts, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games have done little more than acknowledge the existence of a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. The next game in the action adventure series was confirmed in a blog post in January of 2022, as well as a first-person shooter and a strategy game that will take place in the Star Wars universe.
However, the blog post did not provide a specific release date or release window for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 or the other two games that were mentioned. However, some leaked information gives an idea of when we could expect this game to release.
According to a Star Wars leak from Bespin Bulletin, the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release date is planned for late 2022, although there is a good chance it could end up getting delayed to 2023. If it does come out in 2022, it could potentially coincide with the premiere of the third season of The Mandalorian.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
According to Jeff Grub on a recent May 12 episode of the Grubbsnax podcast, the sequel to Fallen Order will be titled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Grubb is a reputable leaker, and the name would make sense from a story perspective, with protagonist Cal Kestis being one of the few Jedi left in the galaxy following the events of Order 66.
We're still yet to get official confirmation of the name from Respawn or EA, but with it expected to be revealed later this year, don't expect to wait too long before we find out the final title.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Trailers
There haven’t been any trailers released for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 as of yet. But, additional leaks have given us an idea of when we might get to see a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 trailer for the first time.

Notably, Bespin Bulletin also claimed that the developers were aiming to unveil gameplay footage at the Star Wars Celebration 2022, which will last from May 26-29. As a result, it is possible that we could get a short announcement trailer on Star Wars Day, followed by a more in-depth gameplay trailer later in the month.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Gameplay
Fans likely won’t be able to get a solid understanding of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2’s gameplay until a gameplay trailer is released. Even so, players will likely get to see many returning mechanics and gameplay elements that defined its predecessor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a third-person game that encourages constant re-exploration of previously-visited locations, in the same vein as many games in the two-dimensional Metroid-vania style.
While controlling the Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order players could use a lightsaber and the power of the Force to engage in combat with assorted enemies and to solve puzzles. In addition, Cal can unlock new abilities over the course of that game, granting him access to previously inaccessible areas in each of the locations he has already been to.
Of course, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will likely have some new and unique mechanics to distinguish it from its predecessor. However, there currently isn’t any information available about what new mechanics there might be in this game.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Characters

Nevertheless, the aforementioned leak provided a few details when it comes to the characters that will be in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
According to Bespin Bulletin, characters from the original game will return in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, with some of them having bigger roles than in the previous title. In addition, other characters from the Star Wars universe that weren’t in the first game will make appearances in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2. However, Bespin Bulletin declined to mention any specific characters that would be in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
