Is Sons of the Forest coming to PS5?

If you've been following the success of Sons of the Forest on PC, then you may be wondering if it's coming to PS5. Sons of the Forest, the sequel to the 2018 survival horror game The Forest, is currently available to play on PC via Steam early access, following several delays.

The first game initially launched on Windows with a PlayStation 4 release following shortly after, but will Sons of the Forest be coming to the current generation of consoles? Here's what we know so far.

Is Sons of the Forest coming to PS5?

At the time of writing, Sons of the Forest is not available on PS5, and there is no indication yet that it will come to the platform.

For now, the only way to play is on PC via Steam. However, it is still early days in the game’s lifecycle, so players should not count it out just yet.

By releasing it in early access, the game is going to be continuously updated until it is completed. This means players will have a lot more time to get to grips with it… if they can survive the night.

If the day comes that Sons of the Forest is confirmed for PS5, we’ll be updating this article.

Once again developed by Endnight Games, Sons of the Forest is a survival game that takes place a year after the original. Following in the first game’s footsteps, Sons of the Forest has the player fighting for survival following a helicopter crash. As they scavenge food and craft materials for shelter, players must survive the attacks of cannibals inhabiting the forest and search for a missing wealthy CEO and his family.

Following the growing success of The Forest, a sequel was highly anticipated and, so far, has not disappointed, with it becoming one of the most wish-listed games on Steam.
