Scarf Inks: Where To Find All Nine Collectibles
The Scarf Inks are important collectibles throughout the three worlds in the game, that reveal more of the story in lieu of an actual linear narrative. On top of that, you need to find at least six of the nine Inks to unlock one of the Scarf endings. So without further ado, if you want to 100% complete the game, here are all of the Scarf Inks and their locations.
Scarf Inks: All Ink Locations
Each world contains three hidden inks. The passages to these inks are marked by a shadowy totem. Your scarf will attempt to stop you from collecting each Ink, simply beat the quick-time-event and walk into the ink to collect it.
Scarf Inks: Ocean World
Click to enlargeRight after you first enter the ocean world you will see some cliffs in front of you. After you collect some golden threads that have been spread around the area you will unlock scarfs first transformation ability, the wings. If you head right before progressing to the next section you will be able to see the ink. Use your newly acquired double jump to cross the rocks and you will be able to collect ink number one.
Click to enlargeInk number two can be found just after the first underwater section. If you immediately turn around you will be able to see a series of platforms behind you. However, to reach this ink you must first unlock scarf's lasso swing ability so that you can get past the hanging rings. Complete the first set of puzzles and you will unlock the ability. Before you move to the next section, turn around and head to the entrance to the area. Then simply jump up and across the platforms you saw earlier, use the lasso to swing across the gaps and you’ll be able to reach the ink at the end.
Click to enlargeThe final ink on the ocean world can be found just before you enter the final temple. After you cross the bridge head left and you will find a small platforming section with rising and lowering platforms. Reach the bottom of this platforming section to find this ink.

Scarf Inks: Desert World
Click to enlargeThe first ink on the dessert world can be found just after you walk through the scorching heat and lose scarf. After using the orbs to heal scarf you’ll need to complete some puzzles to progress. In this section, there is a lever that must be pulled to progress. Just past this lever, you will find the pathway that leads to the ink.
Click to enlargeThe second ink can be found just after you come to an open section featuring floating islands that you need to glide between. Before you glide across any of the gaps hang a right and you will find the ink passage.
Click to enlargeThe final ink can be found in the final open puzzle section, where you must complete several small puzzles to collect the gold strands. As you enter the area you will see a tower in the middle, directly on the other side of this tower and on the edge of the area is a small path along the cliffside - follow this path to find the ink.
Scarf Inks: Forest World
Click to enlargeThe first ink in the forest world requires a little backtracking. After you collect the first mask, don’t take the slingshot up to the next level. Instead, backtrack through the area you played peekaboo with scarf in. You will come to a locked door that you passed earlier. After using the mask to scare the birds you will be able to reach a water orb. Use this orb to walk through the small pond to the side. Here you will find the lever to the door. Once the door opens head inside to find the ink.
Click to enlargeThe second ink can be found in the main underwater section of the level. Once you have picked up the water orb head underwater past the tall platforms, you will follow some stairs and an underwater path. If you hang a right here you will find a small cave. Walk into this cave with the water orb and you will find the ink
Click to enlargeThe final ink can be found in the last main puzzle section of the game. After scarf has been stolen by the two Nomads you must break some lights to free her. While heading to one of the sources of light you will see a large pond with a waterfall. This area has a passageway that is blocked by a blue shield. Head across the water and on the right you will find the switch that deactivates the shield. Simply head down the passageway and you will find the final ink.
