Rainbow Six Extraction crossplay is a highly requested feature, as players continue to blur the platform lines across PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Rainbow Six Extraction is another Ubisoft title that puts a hard emphasis on co-op play, so for many crossplay just makes sense, as it enables them to team up with more friends. But does Extraction feature crossplay? And what about cross-progression? We've got all the details you need on Rainbow Six Extraction crossplay and cross-progression.

Since Rainbow Six Extraction is playable on PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia, and PC, there are a lot of potential barriers that could stop people from playing together. Luckily however, Rainbow Six Extraction crossplay will be available at launch on January 20.

That means you can matchmake with your mates on any platform, chatting either within the game chat or your own Discord server. Players will also have the option to turn crossplay off.

Next up we have Rainbow Six Extraction cross-progression, which is an incredibly handy feature for those that have access to multiple consoles. Just as well as Rainbow Six Extraction crossplay, cross-progression will also arrive in full on launch, meaning you can level up your operators across any platform as long as your Ubisoft account is linked.

This can save a lot of heartbreak if you switch over to another platform and don't want to lose all of your progress. You will still have to buy the game again on another platform, and console specific trophies won't track, so its not entirely seamless, but still welcomed.

That's all you need to know about Rainbow Six Extraction crossplay. If you are a Rainbow Six fan, check out the main differences between this and Siege in our Rainbow Six Extraction vs. Siege.
