There's a broad selection of freebies you can currently claim using Mystery Gift codes, including a Cetitan, a Pawmot, and a Chest Form Gimmighoul to add to your collection. The Sprigatito code is the latest addition, which will be great for anyone who didn't choose it as their starter Pokemon.
Those 30 Quick Balls will come in handy when catching all the new creatures in the Teal Mask & Indigo Disk as part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. There's also a Neo-Kitakami Case for your Rotom Phone, shown in the image below.
Aside from the codes above, you can also claim a Mythical Pecha Berry by selecting the 'Get via Internet' option from the Mystery Gift menu.
This item is required for you to play the epilogue of The Hidden Treasure of Zero DLC, but you don't need a code to claim it. You will, however, need to purchase the DLC and complete both the Teal Mask and the Indigo Disk parts before you can play the epilogue.
How to redeem Mystery Gifts
To redeem the above Gift codes in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you'll first need to have played around an hour and a half to reach a Pokemon Centre to unlock the Mystery Gift feature.
Once you've done that, simply follow these easy steps:
- Once you're in-game, press the X button to bring up the main menu
- Make sure you're connected to the internet by pressing the L button
- Select 'Poké Portal', then 'Mystery Gift'
- Press 'Get with Code/Password' and enter one of the above active codes
- If no code is required, simply select the "Get via Internet" option
- Wait whilst the game validates your code and searches for Mystery Gifts
- If successful, your Mystery Gift should appear as an option to receive
- Choose your gift and your redemption will be successful!
Where to get more Mystery Gift codes
If it's more Mystery Gifts you're after in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you'll be glad to know that they are given out regularly via special events throughout the year.
Previously, codes have been shared during World Championship live streams or by visiting specific retailers for a limited time - for example, it was once possible to get a Mimikyu at GameStop.
We'll be updating this page as soon as new codes are released, so give it a bookmark and check back soon. If you're on X (formerly Twitter), it's also worth giving Serebii a follow as they post about new codes regularly.
To get even more powerful Pokemon, check out the upcoming Tera Raid event schedule, all special evolutions in Scarlet & Violet, and how to get all starter Pokemon in The Indigo Disk.
