The best Pokemon GO Cliff counters for May 2022 are the same as April. You can likely rely on some of the same three Pokemon to take him down once more, but if they weren't optimal, you may need to swap some of them out. To take down Cliff in Pokemon GO, you can enlist the help of this guide to know exactly what his weaknesses are and how to take him down.

These are the best Pokemon GO Cliff counters in May 2022.

If you haven't taken down the other Team GO Rocket leaders yet, take a look at these guides:

Pokemon GO Cliff Lineup: May 2022

Cliff’s first Pokemon is always a Cubone, and as is the case for every other Team GO Rocket boss, his second and third Pokemon could be one of three. His second Pokemon could be:

  • Omastar
  • Electivire
  • Luxray

And his third Pokemon could be either:

  • Tyranitar
  • Charizard
  • Swampert

  • Mamoswine (Powder Snow | Avalanche)
  • Venusaur (Vine Whip | Frenzy Plant)
  • Kyogre (Waterfall | Surf)
  • Any strong Pokemon with Water, Grass, or Ice-type moves

Cliff's second and third slots are where it gets a bit more varied. Here’s the best way to take out each of the possible three second Pokemon:
