Pokemon GO A Poni Adventure is the final Alolan Special Research, after the first three islands were introduced in the last month or two. This rounds out the Alola region, giving each island in the archipelago its own Special Research questline. For all the steps in the Poni Island Adventure Special Research, as well as the rewards for completing them, read on!

Pokemon GO A Poni Adventure Step 1/4

  • Catch 10 Pokemon - 10x Poke Ball
  • Power up Pokemon 5 times - 5x Razz Berry
  • Defeat 2 Team GO Rocket Grunts - 3x Hyper Potion

Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and an encounter with Alolan Raticate

Pokemon GO A Poni Adventure Step 2/4

  • Catch 3 Water-type Pokemon - Tentacruel encounter
  • Take a snapshot of a Water-type Pokemon - Wailmer encounter
  • Use 5 berries to help catch Pokemon - Wingull encounter

Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust, and a Fast TM

Pokemon GO A Poni Adventure Step 3/4

  • Walk 2 km - Miltank encounter
  • Catch 15 Pokemon - 10x Great Ball
  • Spin 5 PokeStops or Gyms - Stufful encounter

Rewards: 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and a Premium Battle Pass

Pokemon GO A Poni Adventure Step 4/4

  • Send 5 gifts to friends - 10x Great Ball
  • Catch 15 Pokemon - 7x Pinap Berry
  • Win a Raid - Alolan Exeggutor encounter

Rewards: 8,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and 15 Ultra Balls

Remember: to unlock the final end of season Special Research, you'll need to either complete the first four (Melemele, Akala, Ula'ula, and Poni) or purchase a ticket. The cutoff date for completing the first four is June 1, but you can obtain the end of season quests as early as May 25. 

A ticket for the final set of research will run you USD$5 or the equivalent in your local currency. If you'd rather not pay, be sure to complete all four questlines.
