There are several ways to unlock new heroes in Overwatch 2, you’ll need to complete a set number of public games. This means they can’t be Practice Matches or against AI, but instead against real players.
Completing the games doesn’t necessarily mean you have to win, so the more you play, the more heroes you unlock.
