Support for G-SYNC has been added to five new displays, so make sure to check out the list below to see if yours qualifies:

  • AOC Q27G3Z
  • AOC U32G3X
  • Dell G2524H
  • Dell G2724D
  • Dell AW2724DM

If you're unaware, G-SYNC is NVIDIA's impressive adaptive sync technology that lines up your monitors refresh rate with your in-game framerate to ensure that it feels as smooth as possible. Make sure that you've got it turned on if you've got a capable display, as it will only enhance your favourite games.

  • Bleak Faith: Forsaken
  • Romancelvania
  • Sherlock Holmes The Awakened

If you've got an NVIDIA graphics card released from the 20-series and beyond, make sure that you've got DLSS enabled in your games as it can dramatically increase your framerate through AI upscaling.

Thankfully, this specific graphics driver update has brought with it a few fixes that you might have encountered in recent times. Here is a list of the fixed issues in the NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 531.68:

  • Fixed an issue in Immortals Fenyx Rising where the game randomly crashed to desktop after a driver update to 531.41.
  • Fixed an issue where Shadowplay was incorrectly getting engaged within the EA Play application.
  • Fixed an issue in Counter-Strike 2 where enabling Reflex may reduce performance.

There are also a number of issues that NVIDIA are aware of and are currently working to fix, which are detailed in this list:

  • Toggling HDR on and off in-game causes game stability issues when non-native resolution is used.
  • Monitor may briefly flicker on waking from display sleep if DSR/DLDSR is enabled.
  • In-game foliage in Halo Wars 2 is larger than normal and displays constant flickering.
  • Watch Dogs 2 may display flickering when staring at the sky when using an RTX 4090.
  • Increase in DPC latency observed in Latencymon.
  • Applying GeForce Experience Freestyle filters cause games to crash.

So, that wraps up all of the changes, fixes, and new features brought about in the NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 531.68 release notes. If you want more hardware news and guides though, make sure to check out our dedicated page.
