My Time At Sandrock Multiplayer Gameplay
Pathea have issued an apology for fans expecting multiplayer upon early access release, whilst confirming that it is on the way. Director, Xu Zhi has further explained that multiplayer will include up to four players, working together to achieve town-building quests which they can each contribute to.
Resources gained from mining and harvesting will be shared amongst the party, with Xu hinting that multiplayer will have its own narrative features that will tie in with the main plot of single-player mode.

Pathea have constructed a roadmap ahead for their plans for Multiplayer, they have said that there will be a test demo of multiplayer carried out this August 2022, during which the functionality of the multiplayer mode will be tested.
Following from this, a global test will then be carried out late August/September 2022 available to all players. After gathering the necessary data and fixing any issues, a second test will be held in October 2022, after which Pathea have planned to roll out multiplayer officially by the end of the year.
