The Lost Ark knowledge transfer is an incredibly handy feature for end-game players that allows them to level up other characters. Lost Ark is the latest MMORPG from Smilegate to break into the west, and it has some cool ideas to halt the need to grind your other characters up to max level. If you want to know how to access the Lost Ark knowledge transfer, along with how it works, then read on.

  • Once you've hit the level cap, why not try taking on the Lost Ark world bosses for some of the best loot.

The knowledge transfer feature is somewhat similar to the Powerpass, allowing you to level up one of your alternate characters to the Lost Ark level cap. This means you won't have to go through the entire main quest again to grind your character up, and it gives you more options for end-game content in terms of the class you want to play.

Unlike the Powerpass, it's not instant and costs money. When you choose to use a knowledge transfer on a character, they will be sent on an eight-hour-long mission in real-time. It can cost 600, 1000, 1400, 1600, or 2400 gold, depending on which content you decide to send them to. Once the timer is up, you can collect your newly levelled character from the training area in the Stronghold.

Obviously, this feature is not accessible immediately and requires you to play a lot of the game first. To get a Lost Ark knowledge transfer, you will need to finish the main story on the continent that you plan to use it on, reach the level cap, unlock the Strongholds feature, and finish the Player Housing quest. It's quite a bit, but most players will automatically do this as they reach the end-game anyway.

A new screen will unlock in your player housing where you can select characters who are below the level cap, and you can send them on their training to reach the level cap. On top of the experience that is earned, the character also gets all the basic items from finishing that questline.

That's all for our explanation of the Lost Ark knowledge transfer system, and now you know how it works and where you can start the process.
