Riot Games’ Wild Rift brings the League of Legends experience to mobile. While the feeling of the game and the way it is played are very similar, there's a distinct difference in gameplay from controls, to levelling squish, to item changes, to game length, majorly determine power levels of each pick. This makes it so that even well-versed players in League of Legends need to retune their ideas of which champions are top tier, based on the unique features of Wild Rift.

Gathering input from several players of all levels and aggregating them into a Wild Rift Tier List, we’ve set out to determine which champions are most likely to win you the champion select section of the game. However, keep in mind that synergies should heavily weigh into your decision and that a stack of S-Tier champions might not achieve the desired results.

The mid-lane is currently a two-horse race, and the respective dominance of those picks have a considerable impact on the outcome of the game. First up, we have Seraphine, the best poke hero in the game whose abilities transported to mobile incredibly well. Incredibly frustrating to lane against, she has a leg up in many lane matchups and scales well into the mid-game. In team fights, she excels as well, bringing a full kit of everything but tankiness to the table. The only other champion that can bring it to her is Zed, who gains incredibly from getting his ultimate so early into the game. After he levels up to five, kill pressure is ever-present and also incredibly safe to execute, with Zed’s Shadows being even harder to keep track of on a mobile screen. Honourable mentions are Ahri, who all around is solid in most regards, and Akali, who can take games over by herself if you let her.

Wild Rift Tier List - Dragon Lane / AD Carry

Because of the rate of income, the scaling that an AD Carry can snowball into can often feel overwhelming, and only heavy CC can keep a champion like Jhin under control. Mana costs also feel much less oppressive to the point of fire and forget, and Jhin’s ability to harass in lane is therefore incredibly obnoxious. Getting heavy gold advantages, therefore, feels very doable and the scaling of his kit makes him an excellent carry going into the mid and late game. Ezreal too can spam without much regard of his mana pool, also because more frequently recalls are part of the Wild Rift flow of the game, in which you’d want to grab big items early without much drawback in the way of lane pressure. Moreover, Ez remains slippery all game and while he doesn’t do the incredible amounts of damage that a Jinx or a Vayne might, long drawn out fights play right into his hand and he can juke and juggle with relative ease.

Wild Rift Tier List - Dragon Lane / Supports

Engaging in Wild Rift remains a major feature of any support and Blitzcrank excels at it to incredible levels. The way the predictive targeting works on his hook makes it highly accurate at many ranges, and juking it somehow feels just so much harder though we are sure players will adjust in time. Whether you just walk on enemies or find pull angles, Blitzcrank remains incredibly potent in getting a fight going and also can semi-tank the enemy. Just like in the mid-lane, Seraphine is also a menace in the bottom lane as a support, putting heavy pressure on the enemy at all times and forces defensive playstyles on the opponents part which a lot of ADC can’t really work within Wild Rift.

Mundo also goes where he pleases in Wild Rift, simply walking up on enemies with incredible tankiness and a lot of damage just from his kit especially once his ultimate becomes available at level 5. Staying ahead of the experience curve gives him huge advantages, and achieving this feels much more doable in Wild Rift. While flower blobs are the only way to sustain through Mundo’s harass, his opponents rarely have fun in lane once those are depleted. Darius excels in similar ways with a bit more damage and kill pressure but also has weaknesses in terms of being kited by heroes like Ahri or Ezreal. Here Camille shines with her ultimate and her lethal damage, allowing for strategical pickoffs fairly regularly.

Wild Rift Tier List - Jungle

One of the heroes that most contributed from the level squish is Amumu, who gets his ultimate just so scarily early, with likely only having to execute a single “dry”-gank pre-level five. Otherwise, his jungle clear is sound and his ability to contest objectives through his ultimate pressure assures Dragon and Herald control if vision is set up for it. His skillshot feels easy enough to land and is rather easy to engage with, giving the pick a lot of value in the current meta. Only equal to him in ability is Lee Sin, who for some weird reason doesn’t feel considerably different to play on Wild Rift at all, though performing “InSec” ultimate kicks may prove challenging for most players, perhaps even more so than on PC. On paper, Gragas shouldn’t be this highly ranked due to the accuracy needed to land his skillshots and yet somehow his numbers deliver to a point where he is still a top tier pick at the moment, with solutions that barely any other jungler brings to the table.
