Is Hardspace Shipbreaker On Xbox And PlayStation?
After being in Early Access for two years, Hardspace Shipbreaker is currently only available for PC players, meaning Xbox and PlayStation users are not in luck. Back when the game was first announced on February 19, 2020, it was confirmed for PC, with the publisher Focus Home Interactive revealing that PS4 and Xbox One versions were in the works. Since then, we've not really heard much news of the console version, but now that the PC edition is in 1.0, Blackbird Interactive may be able to dedicate more resources to porting.
There's no release date for any console version, and we also have no confirmation on whether the game will be released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S down the line. We'll make sure to update this guide once we get official details about a Hardspace Shipbreaker console version.
Currently, if you plan on playing the game, you will need to play it through Steam or the Xbox store on PC. This means it's available through the Xbox marketplace, but the store page also indicates that it's only available to the PC player base at the moment.
