Chances are if you’ve been playing Hyper Scape – you’ve been playing Faction War. Gone are the three-person squads, and in comes four teams of 24, with 96 players total. Providing even more chaos than usual, the aim of this LTM is to eliminate as many enemies from the other factions as possible – think Team Deathmatch, but more people bouncing around in mirror balls.

If you’re getting bored of the small team action, why not give Faction War a go? Much like Fortnite’s Team Rumble, this could be the perfect opportunity to level up some tiers on the Season 1 Battle Pass.

As the Limited-Time Mode comes to an end on September 1, here’s how to get those last few (or even first) victories.

If you haven’t checked the LTM out yet, you can watch the trailer below.

Stay With The Group

Don’t be a hero – if you know you’re about to wander into enemy territory – hang back and regroup. There’s safety in numbers, and more importantly – more guns.

Sticking with a few members of your faction is a good shout, as they can help you out with using their Hacks, such as Wall and Heal, if need be.

Also, be aware that no rules have changed in Faction War, and Sectors will collapse as normal, so keep an eye on the map, and be ready to move with the herd.

Do The Right Thing – Respawn Your Teammates

Dead teammate pinging a respawn beacon? Once again, this is a team game – so get over there and restore their Echo. The winner at the end of the match is the team with the most players standing, so being selfless can lead to a win.

Pick The Best Weapons For The Job

TTK is your best friend in this hectic atmosphere, so picking weapons without a decent fire rate (and clip size) isn't a good idea. Stick with the Harpy SMG, the Ripper AR, and even the Mammoth Shotgun for the best chance of coming out the victor. Where you can, try to still find time to fuse the weapons – more damage, and more bullets means a better chance at eliminations. Of course, if you'd rather get a more definitive answer about which weapons to slot into your loadout, our Hyper Scape weapons tier list could be just the ticket.

Hack (And Slash)

Hacks are also very useful in this high-stakes environment, and we suggest using offensive and damaging Hacks such as Mine and Shockwave, but also remember to be a nice person – and maybe pick up Heal for the boys. If you'd rather hole up, snipe, and use defensive tactics instead, you can read up on the best Hyper Scape Hacks right here.

Fight for your faction while you can and claim victory before the LTM leaves on September 1.
