How To Unlock The Nakatomi Plaza Vault In Warzone
As part of the huge ‘80s action heroes rollout for Call of Duty: Warzone, and as if by magic, a big slice of action nostalgia has appeared out of nowhere on the battlefields across Verdansk. Nakatomi Plaza, the setting of the Bruce Willis classic film Die Hard has seemingly sprung out of the ground in Warzone, allowing players to explore one of the most iconic locales of the 1980s and score some big kills. But that’s not all the building is there for.
The building is actually home to a sinister vault, and it hasn’t taken long for players to figure out exactly how to get inside and reap the rewards. Thankfully, opening the vault isn’t as exhaustive as similar areas on the Warzone map, but it’s still not a total cakewalk. Here’s how you can crack the Nakatomi vault.

How To Get Into The Nakatomi Vault In Warzone
To get into the vault you’ll need one of three keycards on the map - but you’ll want to try to get your hands on as many as possible, as there are security deposit boxes inside that require an extra keycard to open that’ll offer you some bonus loot. Here’s how to grab the keycards:
Warzone’s Nakatomi Plaza Vault Keycard 1
The first keycard can be found by completing an ‘Unfinished Business’ contract, which is located in the areas surrounding the plaza. You’ll have to locate three crates in the area nearby, and once you’ve cracked open that third and final box, the first keycard will be waiting for you.
Warzone’s Nakatomi Plaza Vault Keycard 2
The second keycard can be earned by completing the challenge that becomes available when you drop directly onto the roof of Nakatomi Plaza. You’ll have to disarm bricks of C4 scattered around the roof and top floor of the building. Whoever disarms the final C4 will earn the keycard, but beware - this area is going to be insanely hot for at least a couple of weeks, so beware of other players swooping in to claim your honour and loot.
Warzone’s Nakatomi Plaza Vault Keycard 3
The third and final keycard can be obtained by activating an event inside the building, where AI terrorists will attack you. Once you’ve wiped all of them out and the final enemy falls, he’ll drop a keycard that’ll let you into the vault. Easy.
How To Get Into Nakatomi Vault
With either keycard in your pocket, head to the 31st floor on Nakatomi Plaza. The easiest way to do this is to climb the elevator shaft up to the 30th floor, then just take the stairs up.
Once you’re there, you’ll see a set of gold logos on the wall, beside a silver slide door. Walk to the box with the TVs on top, interact with the “unlock vault door” prompt, and you’re in. You’ll be able to grab the insane sum of cash from the floor, and depending on which keycards you have, open its corresponding security deposit box for some extra loot, including a contraband weapon blueprint from the third box.
Nakatomi Plaza is an exciting addition to Verdansk and its ‘80s theme, and will hopefully inject some variety to Warzone. And if you can crack the vault, it’ll give you an incredible headstart on the game too.
