Luckily the process of adding and inviting friends in Fall Guys is quite simple, and due to the featured cross-play between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch, you can easily game with friends no matter what platform they use. 

Before you can team with friends, you will need to add each other's Epic Games accounts on the actual Fall Guys client. You can do this from the lobby screen, but the way you do so changes on each platform. These are:

• Shift + F3 keys or the icon in the bottom right corner.
• The touchpad on the DualShock controller for PlayStation.
• The view button on Xbox.
• The minus button on Nintendo Switch. 

The social menu will then appear, allowing you to search for your friend's Epic Games account username with the bar at the top of the screen. 

Once you've added the friends who you want to join up with, go to the Team Menu and select one of the 'Invite' options. This will produce a list of your friends, and you can invite them to the lobby. You can only have a maximum of four players in each lobby, so if you have more than three friends, some of them will be missing out.
