Whether you have no need for a car or you just straight up don't like it, it is possible to gift cars in Forza Horizon 5. How To Gift Cars In Forza Horizon 5: Gift Drop

Learning how to gift cars in Forza Horizon 5 is a relatively simple process. All you'll need to do is hit the pause button and head to the My Horizon tab. From there, you should be able to access the Gift Drop option. Once Gift Drop is selected, you will be taken to your garage collection, where you can select any car, regardless of price or class rating. You can select which type of player you would like to gift your car to, whether that is a brand-new player, or a Forza Horizon 5 community contributor.

How To Gift Cars In Forza Horizon 5: How To Gift To Friends

The main reason most players would likely want to learn how to gift cars in Forza Horizon 5, is to help out one of their friends that's jumping into the game with them. Sadly, gifting cars to friends isn't actually possible, however, there is a good reason for it. 

Selecting the Gift Drop option as mentioned, you can select the type of players, but they are all random. That's because Playground Games don't want to foster an environment where players could be coaxed into spending real world money to trade for the best cars. By eliminating specific gifting, players can't advertise some of the most rare cars and can only gift them out of the kindness of their hearts.

However, there is a slight workaround thanks to the Auction House. You still won't be able to gift cars in Forza Horizon 5 to your friends, but you will be able to set a sale value less than the full retail price. The Auction House made it into our Forza Horizon 5 tips as a great way to scoop up super cars on the cheap. However, from a gifting standpoint it comes with risks as everyone else will be able to see it, so if you are trying to sell a 1,500,000 CR car for 150,000 CR that might catch the attention of other players. Auctions also last a minimum of an hour so that's plenty of time to be spotted.
