One of the many you’ll come across that may leave you stumped are the chests with eyes upon them. These tricky, yet rewarding secrets are prone to causing confusion on how to unlock them. How do you open white chests with eyes

As you explore the many corridors, rooms, and surrounding areas, you’ll stumble across these white chests with eyes fairly naturally. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t directly inform you on how to open them and instead relies on the player to figure it out for themselves.

If you attempt to go near them, the eye will close and the locks will shut, meaning you need to find another means of opening them. The obvious answer here is that you need to get close without being spotted, and luckily, a spell in your skill set will allow you to do this.

Equip the Disillusionment spell, which will essentially cause you to be invisible. With this enabled, approach the white chest with an eye to gain the ability to search it. Make sure you are not within its eyesight when you enable the spell as it may not work.

With this done, you will then be able to reap the rewards from the chest in Hogwarts Legacy and can complete this same method upon every white chest with the eyes you see.
