The Halo Infinite Tactical Ops event begins very soon, making for the fourth event so far in the first season of the game's multiplayer. Halo Infinite has had a strong showing since release, and the new events littered in with the season help to keep things fresh. This one is  a bit smaller than the recent Tenrai event, which is still set to see another three appearances, but Tactical Ops still has stuff to show. So, for a rundown on the entire Halo Infinite Tactical Ops event, including the start time, rewards, and challenges, we've got you covered.

The official roadmap for the first season of Halo Infinite placed the start date for Tactical Ops on February 8, but it's now passed with no start on the event.

We know it's set to continue for two weeks from when it begins, which should give players plenty of time to see off its battle pass. It will likely begin at the same as the weekly reset for Halo Infinite multiplayer, which is 6PM GMT (1PM ET, 10AM PT).

We don't know the exact details for the Halo Infinite Tactical Ops rewards yet, but there has been a leak of what the potential battle pass will look like. In the past, these have generally been correct but with a few inconsistencies, so the final list may be subject to change. The current details ten rewards which are:

  • 1 Spartan Stance
  • 2 Purple Armour Visor
  • 3 Emile's Helmet Weapon Charm
  • 4 Crossing Swords Backdrop
  • 5 Mark V Zeta Helmet
  • 6 Mark VII Chest Attachment
  • 7 Mark VII Hip Attachment
  • 8 Mark VII Gloves
  • 9 Mark 8 Coating (orange and silver)
  • 10 Mark V Zeta Helmet Attachment

In the past events, players have had to complete event specific challenges to level through the battle pass and earn its rewards. We don't know what the challenges will consist of for the Tactical Ops event, but it's likely to have its own gamemode attached like Halo Infinite Attrition for Cyber Showdown, and Halo Infinite Fiesta for Tenrai.

The developers have had complaints that challenges in past events weren’t team oriented, so the ones for this event should be altered slightly too.

As part of the event, there should be some new shops items as well that keep with the same theme. It's not entirely obvious what the theme for this event is - besides being vaguely clandestine - but the shop items may illuminate that a little more.

That's all for our Halo Infinite Tactical Ops guide, but make sure to check back as we will update this once the event goes live.
