New players, or those want to up their game will need Halo Infinite Multiplayer tips. The newest Halo's Multiplayer element has been released for a little over a month now, and since then we've racked up some experience. If this is your first rodeo as a Spartan, or you're just wondering what aspect of your game might be missing, we've got eight Halo Infinite Multiplayer tips to aid you. So, let's get into it.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Melee For Days

The first Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip is likely the most immediate element of this shooter you will have to get used to. Melee is a powerful attack, and while not enough to take out an enemy in one blow, it becomes one of the most important strategies to rack up kills. The time to kill (TTK) in Halo Infinite Multiplayer is incredibly long, but combo-ing a quick blast into your enemy before finishing them off with a swift melee attack, allows you to get to the next enemy quicker. You'll find most enemies utilising melee attacks, meaning it can be difficult to get your attack in just before theirs, so if you aren't entirely confident to start, make sure you keep your distance.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Switch To Your Secondary

The next of your Halo Infinite Multiplayer tips is something that every shooter tries to remind you of: use your secondary weapon. It's too easy for players to write off their secondary weapons as a less powerful option. However in Halo Infinite Multiplayer, that couldn't be further from the truth. The base MK50 Sidekick is superb, and at times even outperforms the MA40, especially at range. So if you are strained for ammunition, switching to your secondary makes for another solid Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Use Power Ups

Power ups are at the heart of the next Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip. If you are anything like me, then you'll love to pick up these powerups and then try and save them for the right moment. However, Halo Infinite Multiplayer is a fast-paced experience where the right moment was almost definitely thirty seconds prior. As such, using your power ups is almost always the way to go whether those be invisibility cloaks, the Halo Infinite Grappling Hook or armour boosting shields.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Pick Up Unique Weapons

The unique weapons that are scattered around maps are just waiting to be used, and while they might not all be great for every situation as the MA40 is, they are typically more powerful in one field. This means picking up and experimenting with these weapons can be a great way of donning a dynamic play style that gives you the upper hand in certain situations, That may be at longer distance with the MLRS-2 Hydra or destroying at close range with the CQS48 Bulldog, making for a fun Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Use Cover

With the aforementioned high TTK, the latest of the Halo Infinite Multiplayer tips, might seem like a stupid one to mention, but it's actually a part of Infinite's gameplay. Unlike games such as Call of Duty: Vanguard, with the small teams and extended respawn timer, dying in Halo Infinite Multiplayer can genuinely set your team back. You will severely decrease the amount of deaths if you dip behind cover to regain your shield. Using cover to avoid lines of sight, whether they be a pillar, wall or crouching behind a ledge are sometimes the answer over diving straight in guns blazing. If you have lower health than the person you are going up against, there is a good chance you won't walk away, so take the time to correct that.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Spam Grenades

Every Spartan is equipped with two grenades, and we have one simple request: use them. Working in with the previous Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip, grenades can deal that final bit of damage that you can't yourself. Grenades are also really easy to come across in the small maps, meaning you don't need to be reserved with them. To get the most out of your grenades we'd recommend utilising the physics systems which allows you to bounce grenades off of walls, to get them into those awkward spots without exposing yourself.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Stick With The Team

If you want to rake up some multi-kills, we'd recommend following this Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip. It is really difficult to go up against more than one enemy yourself and come out breathing. The best way to boost your chances of survival is by rotating the maps with your team. Splitting up the targets for the enemy means you are less likely to get beamed.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Tips: Play The Objective

This next Halo Infinite Multiplayer tip may be a bit of a meme at this point, as kill-hungry players entirely ignore the base objective. And while a lot of games don't help the case, by offering very little reward to objective players, Halo Infinite Multiplayer is actually very generous to players that play the objective. Not just that, but playing the objective often means you are surrounded by many players, allowing you to get those kills. It is a 'two birds, one stone' kind of scenario.

That's our Halo Infinite Multiplayer tips that'll help first-timers to the Halo franchise or help current players up their game a little. Feeling all ready for multiplayer, remember the Halo Infinite Tenrai event is coming up, so prepare for that, or learn about Halo Infinite Winter Contingency.
