The Halo Infinite Jega 'Rdomnai boss fight can be found quite late on in the game, and it will test all the skills that players will have learned throughout Master Chief's journey across Zeta Halo. There are many big bosses to face off with in the newest Halo, and they look a little different to boss fights from the older titles, thanks to bars representing their health and shields more clearly. So if you're struggling with the master assassin Elite, here's our guide on the Halo Infinite Jega 'Rdomnai boss fight.

Halo Infinite Jega 'Rdomnai: Who Is Jega 'Rdomnai?

Jega 'Rdomnai is a Sangheili blademaster who serves close with the Banished leader, Escharum. During his time in the Covenant, he served with the Silent Shadow, who took part in special operations and covert missions, largely assassinating Spartans and other important Humans.

He stands out due to his prosthetic mandibles and custom energy sword weaponry, which has a deep red glow as opposed to the usual blue. As a master swordsman and elite soldier of the Banished, he makes for a tough fight that really challenges your equipment usage.

Like the previous guide on the Halo Infinite Bassus boss fight, there are a few things to remember against any of the bosses in Infinite. As they all have shields, you need to make sure to have both a plasma and kinetic weapon. This means you can chip away at their shields and health respectively, allowing for the optimal method of combatting them.

This is no different for Jega 'Rdomnai, but you're also going to want to make strong use of your equipment. Firstly, upgrades to your Grappleshot and Threat Sensor are imperative to this fight, which we have a breakdown of in our best Halo Infinite upgrades guide. Principally, you need the expanded sensor radius, and the Grappleshot's stun and improved cooldown for this fight.

Jega 'Rdomnai has high damage output, and on higher difficulties will drop you almost instantly. He also makes annoying use of the Active Camo ability, turning invisible from the very beginning to approach you from where you don't expect.

Consequently, the best method for dealing with him is to drop a Threat Sensor the second he goes invisible, which allows you to keep track of him and chip away at his armour. As he approaches to attack you, utilise the Grapplehook to get far away and keep taking down his armour. Once his shields are depleted, grab a Fusion Coil to chuck at him, and begin pelting him with any kinetic weaponry you have.

The basics to remember against Jega 'Rdomnai are:

  • Use plasma weaponry to lower his shields, and then a combination of Fusion Coils and kinetic weapons to chip away at his health.
  • Always place a Threat Sensor down, so you can track him even when he's invisible.
  • Utilise the Grapplehook to stay a safe distance and avoid his attack.

There's our breakdown for the Halo Infinite Jega 'Rdomnai boss fight, and now player's should be good to take on the Sangheili blademaster.

For collectible hunters, we have guides on all the missions, starting with the Halo Infinite Warship Gbraakon collectibles, and a Halo Infinite Propaganda Towers breakdown.
