With all of the hype and excitement surrounding Halo Infinite's surprise multiplayer release, gamers around the world are working to clear their schedule and plan their playtime. By now, everyone knows that the Halo Infinite beta is live, but how long is the beta? Halo Infinite Beta End Date: How Long Is It?

The Halo Infinite beta is now live and available to download for free to all players on both PC and Xbox. The Halo Infinite beta will end on December 8, the same day the Halo Infinite campaign releases. While December 8 marks the end of the Halo Infinite beta, the multiplayer will remain available to play for free. The Halo Infinite campaign, however, will cost $60.

Halo Infinite Beta End Date: Will Progress Carry Over?

Unlike most video game betas, your progress in the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta will carry over to the full game. Halo's official Twitter account confirmed this news in an announcement reading, "all of your Battle Pass progression, Spartan customization, and shop purchases will carry over from the beta to the full release of Halo Infinite"

So, Halo Infinite beta players can rest assured that all of their progress up until the game's official release on December 8 will remain intact.

Halo Infinite is designed as a live-service game, meaning that players can expect long-term, continuous support and updates from the development team. The Halo Infinite Tenrai event will begin on November 23. You will have one week to earn all of the event rewards — like the Samurai-themed Yoroi Armour — as Fracture: Tenrai ends on November 30.

Along with the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards, Fracture: Tenrai will have special challenges and a unique playlist for Halo Infinite beta players to participate in. All in all, Fracture: Tenrai will give us a taste of what to expect in terms of Halo Infinite's multiplayer in-game events.

The Halo Infinite roadmap is packed-full of exciting content still to come.

Season 1: Heroes of Reach will last until May 2022. While this may seem like a long time for the inaugural season to go on, the developers justified the lengthy season with the statement, "we made the decision to extend Season 1 to give ourselves more time to ensure Season 2 meets our high-quality bar and so we can finish development for Season 2 in a healthy and sustainable way for our team."

The almost six-month season may come off as a bummer, but on the bright side, Season 2 will certainly be of the utmost quality when it is finally released. And furthermore, it's not like Season 1 is going to be dry with content. For example, co-op campaign and Forge mode are scheduled for release in January 2022. Overall, this is just the beginning for Halo Infinite.

That's about all there is to know about the Halo Infinite beta end date, so get ready for the campaign, Spartan.
