Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money, and in the case of Gran Turismo 7 it couldn't be more relevant. When you are working your way through tracks, on occasion you'll come across slightly more difficult competitors, who seem utterly unreachable at the front of the tracks.

However, sometimes by nipping into the Tuning Shop you can spend a small amount of credits on your ride and get to the point that it will zoom past those pesky frontrunners. Keep an eye on your PP rating, which will dictate the power of your car - the higher the better. A small tune-up will lead to more first place finishes which in turn leads to more credits in your pocket.
