Genshin Impact To Ensnare A Prey is the newest web event and will feature the newest addition to the character roster, Yelan. Web events in Genshin Impact are timed quests in which players can participate to earn limited rewards like Primogems and Ascension Materials. How To Play The Genshin Impact Web Event
The new web event will run from May 26 to May 31, so be sure to participate while you can. To access the web event you can navigate through the Genshin Impact Twitter page, head over to their official website or access the event through the ‘Notices’ tab in-game.
For PS4 players, they can ender their unique identifying number (UID) to login, a verification code will then be sent to them in their on-game mail, to help them proceed to the event. The quest requirements state that you must be Adventurer Rank 10 or above to participate in the event.

The event follows a quest with new character Yelan, an employee of the Ministry of Civil Affairs tasked with tracking down the person responsible for leaking sensitive information regarding the organisation. This mystery themed quest is very on-brand for the information previously leaked regarding Yelan’s sleuth-like character. The player will have to follow the notes and clues within left by Yelan to solve the mystery and find the culprit. Gather case files, compiled through conversation records, and highlight any suspicious information to distinguish which of the four people Yelan has questioned is guilty.

Genshin Impact To Ensnare A Prey Trailer And Rewards
Once the event has been completed the player will receive: 40 Primogems, three Varunada Lazurite Fragments (Ascension Material), two Mystic Enhancement Ores (weapon upgrade material) and 20,000 Mora. They will also gain access to a special limited wallpaper, after sharing their success on social platforms.
